As architectural opening systems, the retractable façade elements connect indoor and outdoor spaces: precise, quiet and fully controlled. Developed and manufactured in Switzerland since 1988.

Large-format outdoor and indoor high-end LED screens and audiovisual systems rise almost silently from the floor when needed and then disappear completely into the architecture again.

AURION is the experience brand of Kollegger Metallbau GmbH and defines a new category: Transformational Experience Environments. In these spaces, hidden movement, large-format media and architecture merge into a precisely staged moment that unfolds at the touch of a button.
For flagship projects such as showrooms, brand houses and launch spaces, for luxury hotels and resorts, for private legacy spaces such as residences, yachts, collections and family headquarters, for landmark projects and destinations, and for VIP and hospitality areas in stadiums and arenas.
In five steps. In the private briefing, we clarify objective, space, occasion and desired effect. We then define the signature moment, review spatial logic, movement, safety and operation, develop concept and visualisation, and set the budget framework and project path in the technical feasibility study. From commissioning to installation, it usually takes two to six months.
In principle yes, provided enough space for shaft and technology can be created beneath the floor. Depending on the element and image size, this can mean several metres of depth. Integration is easiest in new builds or during a comprehensive renovation. We clarify what is possible in your building in the feasibility study.
Retractable elements and screens disappear into the floor, into a technical room that also houses the mechanics. The element frames can be integrated flush into the building structure. Surface and interior fit-out form one system.
Yes. AURION is planned for indoor and outdoor areas, such as rooftops, terraces and pool lounges.
Safety is part of the system: sensors, locking and monitoring secure every movement. The retractable elements by HIRT kinetics comply with EN standards, are CE-compliant and certified by a type examination of the Swiss SUVA. In the event of a power failure, they can be opened and closed manually from inside. GianTV follows the same consistent safety philosophy, with integrated monitoring, controlled movements and manual emergency operation to ensure safe function even in exceptional situations.
Yes. The controls can be integrated into existing smart-home and security systems and designed to match the interior.
Every project includes a maintenance plan and, on request, remote support or new content to keep the staging alive. The retractable elements by HIRT kinetics and GianTV are low-maintenance: for private properties, the manufacturer recommends maintenance every two years, for public projects once a year. Remote diagnostics are possible for all models.
AURION is a new category, but the technology behind it is proven. HIRT kinetics has been developing and manufacturing retractable elements in Switzerland since 1988, which are now in use in more than 30 countries. We are happy to show you references in a confidential conversation.
Yes. Since 1998, Kollegger has advised and supported architects, planners and structural engineers on demanding metal and glass structures. AURION is integrated into the project together with your planning team.
